On September 28, NVIDIA (NVDA.O) unveiled a new dual-layer artificial intelligence safety system. NVIDIA stated that the system could prevent incidents similar to the recent Hugging Face security breach caused by OpenAI's AI model. To this end, NVIDIA introduced two open-source software security tools that can run on its hardware, monitoring in real-time the content accessed by AI agents and immediately shutting them down in case of violations. Justin Boitano, NVIDIA's Vice President of Enterprise AI, said on Monday that if leading AI labs had adopted this technology during the early evaluation of models, the Hugging Face attack might have been avoided. He emphasized, 'Based on current information, the new security platform could have prevented this breach.'
