He mentioned that the China-U.S. economic and trade teams recently completed their eighth round of consultations in the United States. Building on the consensus reached by the leaders of both nations and adhering to the guiding principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and mutually beneficial cooperation, the two sides engaged in open, thorough, and productive discussions on economic and trade issues of shared interest, achieving multiple points of agreement. Within the framework of this consultation mechanism, both sides also held their inaugural dialogue focused on artificial intelligence. China remains committed to maintaining close communication with the U.S. to drive forward subsequent initiatives.
