On September 24, the Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau unveiled the 'Administrative Measures for Supporting Key Initiatives to Foster High-Quality Growth in Beijing’s “AI + Audio-Visual” Industry (2026-2029).' These measures outline a commitment to propel the research, development, and practical implementation of audio-visual large models and intelligent agents within the broadcasting, film, and television industries. The scope encompasses groundbreaking technologies and systems, including large models tailored for audio and video content creation, creative support tools, virtual production techniques, intelligent editing solutions, intelligent restoration, enhancement, and substitution processes, as well as intelligent dubbing and translation services. Projects will undergo assessment based on their technological innovation and real-world application impact, with individual projects eligible for up to RMB 3 million in support.
