According to two sources familiar with the matter, DeepSeek's current annualized revenue run rate has reached $1 billion. During a recent investor meeting, DeepSeek CEO Liang Wenfeng disclosed this latest revenue figure. The company is advancing its second round of funding and planning to list on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, with this revenue performance expected to bolster investor confidence. DeepSeek aims to complete this funding round by the end of October, targeting RMB 50 billion (approximately $7.5 billion) with a valuation goal of RMB 500 billion. Sources indicated that the revenue growth was partly driven by last month's pricing strategy adjustment, with model call prices increased to 2.3 to 4.5 times their original levels. Liang Wenfeng stated that the price hike did not result in customer loss, as user demand remains robust.
