Microsoft has quietly stopped blocking the derogatory online term 'Microslop.' Previously, this word was automatically filtered in Microsoft's official Copilot Discord server and could not be posted in public channels. However, users can now use the term normally, with Discord searches revealing over 200 historical messages containing the word in recent weeks. Earlier, Microsoft sparked controversy by blocking the term, prompting users to bypass the restriction with variant words and causing the issue to escalate. Microsoft had explained the move as a temporary measure to combat spam attacks but ultimately chose to abandon the block.
