At the 2026 Yunqi Conference, Wang Xiaohang, the Chief Technology Officer of China Ping An, revealed the latest advancements in the company’s AI computing power infrastructure and its business applications. Over the past year, Ping An has expanded its computing capacity from 800 petaflops (PF) to 1500PF, with average daily token consumption surpassing 300 billion. This marks a tenfold increase in token usage with only a doubling of investment, showcasing substantial cost savings and efficiency gains achieved through full-stack optimization. At present, AI has deeply integrated into and empowered Ping An’s services and operations, with AI-driven quick services being utilized over 100 million times. In the first half of the year, AI agents handled 81% of all customer service interactions, and intelligent anti-fraud measures in property insurance led to a reduction in losses amounting to RMB 7.11 billion.
