At the 2026 Hangzhou Yunqi Conference, Alibaba showcased its most daring artificial intelligence development strategy thus far. Alibaba CEO Wu Yongming revealed that the company is set to train a new generation of AI models, featuring parameter scales that span from 5 to 10 trillion. Additionally, Alibaba plans to broaden its presence in the realms of large-scale models, AI chips, and cloud computing infrastructure. T-Head introduced the Zhenwu V900 chip, which boasts three times the computing power of its forerunner. Alibaba Cloud, on the other hand, aims to boost its global data center capacity to exceed 20GW by 2032.
