On September 18, the Wuhan Brain-Computer Interface Concept Validation Center and the Future Industry Technology Innovation Scenario Lab were officially inaugurated at Tongji Hospital, which is affiliated with the Tongji Medical College at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. The Validation Center is tasked with conducting rigorous technical assessments, including animal experiments, investigator-initiated trials, and multi-center randomized double-blind Good Clinical Practice (GCP) studies. These efforts are aimed at guaranteeing both the safety and real-world efficacy of brain-computer interface technology. Meanwhile, the Innovation Scenario Lab is dedicated to advancing clinical applications, fostering the integration of brain-computer interface technology across diverse sectors, and establishing a seamless continuum from foundational research to technology commercialization and industrial deployment.
