The Beijing Municipal Economy and Information Technology Bureau, in collaboration with the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, has jointly released the 'Action Plan for Accelerating the Development of the Token Economy in Beijing (2026-2028)'. This plan puts forward the development of innovative financial instruments associated with computing power and tokens. It encourages financial institutions to devise specialized financial products, offering medium- to long-term credit assistance to enterprises. Additionally, the plan involves providing re-skilling training for token engineers, orchestrating policy resources such as the convergence of industry and academia, and backing token factories, digital industrial parks, and online training platforms in delivering pertinent training to software engineers, thereby nurturing a pool of talent in token engineering.
