DLSS 5, NVIDIA's cutting-edge gaming graphics innovation, made its debut alongside the release of NBA 2K27. Officially, it is designed to work exclusively with RTX 50-series graphics cards, yet gamers have creatively adapted it to function with 30 and 40-series models as well. For instance, activating DLSS 5 on an RTX 5080 can lead to a 73% reduction in frame rate. At the heart of DLSS 5 lies '3D-Guided Neural Rendering,' a technique that produces lifelike images by assimilating physical laws. NVIDIA has ingeniously condensed multiple computational rounds into a single operation and integrated motion vectors to prevent visual glitches.
