On September 17, French energy company Engie North America announced that it had signed a renewable energy supply agreement with Oracle. Engie will provide up to 568 MW of renewable electricity for Oracle's operations in Texas through wind power resources serving the Electric Reliability Council of Texas market. Oracle stated that this collaboration will support the expansion of its AI and cloud businesses and help achieve its goal of matching 100% of the electricity used in its AI data centers with carbon-free power by 2035.
