Yesterday, Huawei unveiled two pivotal reports: Intelligent World 2035: From Vision to Action and Global Digital and Intelligent Index (GDII) 2026. For the first time, these reports put forward ten key propositions outlining the trajectory towards an intelligent world, while systematically addressing the core challenges of the Agentic AI era. The reports highlight that Agentic AI is propelling the digital world’s transformation from being "application-centric" to "agent-centric." They predict that by 2035, the global annual Token consumption will surge by 100,000 times, with agent traffic constituting over 90% of the total. To this end, the reports propose ten key strategies, including the development of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) endowed with autonomous cognition and universal capabilities across all domains, scaling up computing power clusters by a hundredfold, and constructing a new type of storage and memory system characterized by precise causal traceability and trustworthiness. Additionally, they offer quantitative insights into the future trajectory of the digital and intelligent economy.
