Chinese embodied AI firm Lexiang Technology recently leveled accusations of pixel-level plagiarism against OpenAI. However, rather than receiving a reply, Lexiang found itself facing criticism for allegedly seeking publicity and manipulating its demo. On September 16, Lexiang Technology took the initiative to conduct a self-proving live broadcast, asserting that it was the world's first-ever live broadcast of robots operating in an outdoor open environment. Throughout the broadcast, a humanoid robot successfully accomplished three sets of customer service tasks within a barbecue stall setting. Additionally, CEO Guo Renjie personally guided the camera to verify that there was no remote manipulation involved. Despite the live broadcast being hastily arranged, it effectively highlighted the robot's ability to perform a variety of tasks, including a second attempt after an initial failure, thus garnering significant attention. Nevertheless, skepticism persists within the industry, as Lexiang Technology has yet to provide evidence for the claimed capabilities of large model self-evolution and cross-agent migration. Furthermore, there are numerous doubts surrounding the previously released descriptions pertaining to large model training. As of now, Lexiang Technology has not made a comprehensive technical report on this large model available to the public.
