He underscored that, in contrast to nations that have already secured a leading position but opted to decelerate, South Korea, as a country still striving to catch up and forge new markets, cannot afford to slacken its AI development pace. Kyunghoon Bae further disclosed that South Korea's strategy for the upcoming phase of independent AI foundational models is set to be unveiled to the public shortly, and he pledged that South Korea's AI development will proceed swiftly yet securely.
