At the AI Investment Summit, when questioned about net profit objectives and how Lenovo stacks up against Dell Technologies, Wong Wai Ming, the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Lenovo Group, remarked that Lenovo has witnessed a swift enhancement in its profit margins. Moving forward, the company aims to strike a balance between growth and profitability, targeting a long-term net profit margin ranging from 5% to 8%, thereby aligning with Dell’s benchmark. The previously released financial results for the first fiscal quarter of FY 2026/27 indicated that Lenovo’s adjusted net profit margin hit the 4% mark for the inaugural time. In the earlier part of this year, Lenovo’s leadership set a medium-term net profit margin goal of 5%.
