Christine Lagarde, President of the European Central Bank, highlighted that Europe relies heavily on external providers for artificial intelligence models, computing capabilities, and underlying infrastructure. She urged Europe to expedite the establishment of data centers and foster the development of models underpinned by local infrastructure.
