The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, along with the National Development and Reform Commission, has unveiled the "15th Five-Year Plan" for the Development of the Electronic Information Manufacturing Industry. This plan aims to solidify the hardware infrastructure for artificial intelligence, fostering technological advancements and product evolution. It will spearhead the creation of specifications, facilitate adaptability, and construct a standardized system for AI chips, thereby driving the enhancement of various terminal products. Concurrently, the plan emphasizes bolstering research on pivotal edge-side technologies, improving the compatibility and adaptability among edge-side large models, computing chips, storage chips, and operating systems, and expediting the seamless integration of agents with terminal devices. Furthermore, it will establish intelligent grading criteria and evaluation frameworks for AI terminals, cultivate an industrial ecosystem, and champion their widespread adoption in critical sectors.
