Samsung has made a strategic investment in Euclyd, a Dutch AI chip manufacturer, by taking part in its €231 million funding initiative. This investment occurs against a backdrop of growing market interest in viable alternatives to Nvidia's GPUs. Established in 2024, Euclyd is in the process of developing an innovative AI chip system. This system features an architecture that differs significantly from traditional GPUs and is tailored specifically for inference tasks, encompassing both processor and memory architectures.
