It is reported that the meeting was initiated by Altman, and the discussion mainly revolved around artificial intelligence and its influence. After the meeting, the two had markedly different stances on whether the pace of advanced AI development should be slowed down. Altman posted on Sunday evening that slowing down AI development was "worth the cost," emphasizing that regardless of competitive pressures, reckless actions should not be taken, and AI capabilities should not outpace alignment and monitoring capabilities.
