The UK government has inaugurated a pioneering pilot project—an intensive AI training camp—at the Preston Youth Hub. This initiative is specifically designed for young individuals aged 16 to 24 who fall into the NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) category or are on the verge of becoming NEET. Financed by public funds, the program is set to accommodate 70 participants over a span of three weeks. During this period, trainees will acquire skills pertinent to AI, with the added incentive of AI apprenticeship opportunities provided by collaborating companies.
