On September 11th, market sources reported that Kneronchip Technology, a Hangzhou-based enterprise specializing in 4D world modeling, is nearing the completion of a new funding round that could raise up to 1 billion yuan, boosting the company’s overall valuation to nearly 10 billion yuan. This marks a significant increase from its post-previous-funding valuation of approximately 4 billion yuan. Kneronchip Technology has already undergone a shareholding system reform. The current funding round continues to feature robust participation from industrial capital, with both state-owned and private investors increasing their stakes. The MoWorld 4D model, unveiled by Kneronchip Technology in July, is trained, compressed, and deployed using a domestically developed NPU (Neural Processing Unit). This model achieves a maximum real-time inference speed of around 50 frames per second, while reducing inference costs by 70% compared to GPU-based solutions of similar scale. The MoWorld 4D model has already found applications in areas such as industrial digital twins, embodied intelligence training, urban and rural planning, and cultural tourism consumption.
