As per reports, during the '2026 Ulsan Forum', SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won urged for the creation of a sustainable business model tailored to artificial intelligence (AI). He highlighted that substantial investments in AI technology must yield returns to ensure the continuity of investment and foster growth. Chey noted that humanity has already poured considerable energy and resources into the realm of AI, and it is imperative to devise a superior business model to propel its commercialization forward. AI should not only be profitable but also establish a self-sustaining structure that supports ongoing investment. He cautioned against the potential risks of an AI investment bubble, which could arise if capital and resources inundate the sector without generating adequate returns. Chey underscored the importance of constructing a self-perpetuating ecosystem, wherein the profits generated from AI can be reinvested to fuel further advancements.
