The Gaode Map Street Scanning Ranking has undergone a full-scale AI transformation, revamping its algorithm with spatial intelligence technology. The updated system places a strong emphasis on users’ actual consumption behaviors, incorporating a professional scoring mechanism, and amplifying the importance of metrics such as “intentional visits” and “frequent repeat purchases.” The new algorithm innovatively analyzes travel patterns from a pool of 15 million professional users to assess store appeal, moving beyond conventional methods.
Since its launch a year ago, the Street Scanning Ranking has reached 880 million users, extended its small-store rankings to 269 cities, introduced specialized vertical categories, and expanded internationally. To safeguard data integrity, the platform has implemented an anti-fraud system to prevent paid rankings and ensure objectivity.
At the same time, Gaode is advancing its “Street Scanning Ranking Inside” initiative, integrating the evaluation system across multiple platforms. The goal is to streamline end-to-end services and penetrate deeper into county-level markets. Gaode emphasized that this upgrade significantly enhances users’ lifestyle service experiences and that the company remains committed to refining its algorithm and growing its community of professional evaluators.
