On September 11, 2026, at the 2026 China International Mining Conference, the Ministry of Natural Resources unveiled the 'AI-OreSeeking' system to the world for the first time. This groundbreaking system, independently developed by the China Geological Survey, offers a comprehensive, intelligent solution for predicting and evaluating mineral resources. Its introduction signifies a significant milestone, ushering in a new era where geological ore prospecting shifts from being 'experience-led' to 'intelligence-led.'

The 'AI-OreSeeking' system seamlessly integrates five core functionalities: geological and mineral big data management, knowledge management, data processing and interpretation analysis, intelligent prediction and evaluation, and an advanced ore prospecting model. It effectively dismantles the barriers between data, knowledge, algorithms, models, and tools, enabling a fully automated workflow from raw data extraction to the final output of results.

The system boasts a national multi-scale geological database and a knowledge graph teeming with millions of metallogenic entries. It is armed with over 200 specialized algorithms and a sophisticated ore prospecting model. This robust setup supports the exploration of a diverse range of minerals, including gold, iron, copper, aluminum, lithium, cobalt, nickel, lead-zinc, chromium, potash, and uranium, catering to the needs of multi-mineral and multi-stage mineral exploration endeavors.

Currently, the system has been deployed in key metallogenic belts such as the Qinling, Jiaodong, Wuyi Mountains, and Western Junggar, as well as mining areas like Baiyunebo and Hadamengou. It has been instrumental in over a hundred mineral surveys and exploration projects across more than ten provinces and regions, including Fujian, Shandong, and Inner Mongolia. Measured data indicates that the system has significantly reduced the work cycle for mineral prediction and evaluation from six months to just one week, enhancing overall process efficiency by over 60%.

Simultaneously, the system is actively engaging in technical exchanges with countries like Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan, providing a Chinese-inspired intelligent solution for global mineral exploration.
