On September 11, during the Bund Conference, Alipay unveiled an enhancement to its AI-based payment system by introducing an AI wallet assistant. This innovative tool is designed to help users handle transactions seamlessly within the AI-driven payment environment. Alongside this, Alipay launched three key 'AI Receive' features—VibePay, SkillPay, and MachinePay—tailored to facilitate AI application development, skill-based monetization, and machine-to-machine connectivity, respectively. Moreover, new functionalities such as AI Periodic Purchase, AI Snatch Assist, and AI Booking Assist were also introduced to enrich user experience. According to recent data, the volume of tasks managed by the AI assistant has surged sevenfold over the past five months, with the average monthly payment frequency per user increasing threefold.
