According to a research report from CITIC Construction Investment, on September 3, OpenAI unveiled its latest flagship model, GPT-6 Astra. This new model showcases enhancements in complex reasoning, code generation, web browsing, computer operations, and autonomous execution capabilities for agents. It supports intricate workflows involving documents, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations, boasting an API context window of approximately 1.05 million tokens. In FY2026 Q3, Broadcom reported revenue of $29.59 billion, marking an 86% year-over-year increase. Of this, revenue from AI semiconductors reached $16.7 billion, a staggering 221% increase year-over-year, primarily fueled by rising demand for custom AI accelerators and high-speed networks. It is anticipated that AI semiconductor revenue will surge to $21.7 billion in Q4, representing a 236% year-over-year jump. With the continuous advancement of large model capabilities and increased capital expenditures by overseas cloud providers, demand for computing power in inference and infrastructure is projected to stay robust. Key segments within AI computing power, including chips, optical modules, switches, and PCBs, are areas worthy of close attention.
