On September 5, 2026, Google unveiled that its personal AI assistant, Gemini Spark, now boasts a new feature designed for the efficient management of the Google Photos gallery. Leveraging natural language commands, users can direct Gemini Spark to carry out a variety of tasks, including image editing, album organization, automatic creation of shared albums, identification of concert flyer details and their conversion into calendar events, as well as the execution of complex workflows. This significantly diminishes the manual effort required for organizing photos and information. Over the next few weeks, this functionality will be progressively made available to qualified Gemini AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in the United States, with English being the only currently supported language. To utilize this feature, users must connect their Google Photos account with Gemini and activate the Spark feature within the Gemini app.
