Going forward, both services will be uniformly branded under the 'DianDian' moniker. This strategic move aligns with the broader reorganization of Xiaohongshu's AI first-tier department, known as Dots. With this restructuring, the Dots department has pivoted its core efforts towards the research and development of foundational AI models. Concurrently, the product and engineering teams dedicated to 'DianDian' have been reassigned to the community department. The newly integrated 'DianDian' not only preserves its robust search capabilities but also introduces multi-round conversational features, marking a substantial overhaul of its underlying engineering framework. This evolution underscores Xiaohongshu's unwavering commitment to advancing its AI strategy.
