According to TipRanks, Meta has announced that it will migrate the internal communication tools for approximately 70,000 employees from Google Chat to Slack, a platform under Salesforce, aiming to better accommodate the implementation of AI agents. Alexandre Wang, head of Meta AI, stated that Slack features a sophisticated conversational interface, comprehensive developer tools, and a rich ecosystem of third-party integrations, allowing even employees not directly involved in AI agent development to benefit by automating tasks, retrieving data, and synchronizing team information. Following the announcement, Meta's stock price rose by 1%, while Salesforce's stock also saw a slight increase.
