On September 2, the Anhui Provincial Key Laboratory of Quantum Computing Chips made an announcement: Origin Quantum, working in tandem with research teams from the University of Science and Technology of China and other institutions, has successfully created a "coherent quantum routing system" tailored for bucket-brigade Quantum Random Access Memory (QRAM) on China's homegrown "Wukong" superconducting quantum computer. This achievement effectively tackles the scalability issues that have long plagued QRAM technology. By harnessing the energy levels aided by superconducting qubits, the newly developed system substantially diminishes both circuit depth and error rates, culminating in an impressive transmission efficiency of up to 98% for a single quantum router. The research findings have been documented and published in the esteemed journal Physical Review X.
