On September 3, Meta released the Muse Spark 1.3 model update on Wednesday. It is reported that the new version has significantly improved performance in coding and intelligent agent tasks. Alexander Wang, head of Meta AI, stated that Muse Spark 1.3 is now competitive with cutting-edge models and will lay the foundation for future personal AI agent products, helping users achieve an AI assistant capable of working around the clock. In terms of pricing, Muse Spark 1.3 remains consistent with the previous version, a strategy Wang described as aggressive. Additionally, Meta's 'Contributor Tier' program has been widely welcomed by developers, as it significantly reduces the cost of coding products by leveraging developer contributions to improve the model. Currently, a considerable proportion of developers have opted for this option. Wang also pointed out that as model capabilities continue to improve, safety concerns have become a critical issue within Meta, and the company is increasing its investment in safety and alignment. Muse Spark 1.3 will officially launch on Muse Code and Meta API on the day of release, while the highest inference version will be introduced after completing additional safety testing.
