Amazon has unveiled a novel scam message detection capability for its shopping-oriented AI tool, 'Alexa Shopping.' Customers now have the option to directly request the AI to assess the legitimacy of messages linked to Amazon that they receive. Amazon has revealed that roughly 360,000 shoppers reach out to customer support annually to confirm if messages are genuinely from Amazon or if they are counterfeit communications crafted by fraudsters. Thanks to this new function, the AI will now take charge of addressing these types of queries.
