The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has released a notice announcing the launch of a dedicated initiative aimed at nurturing AI application service providers. The objective is to amass a national resource pool comprising over 2,000 service providers by the end of 2026. This pool will be structured in a multi-tiered echelon format, significantly boosting the capacity to deliver solutions for complex scenarios. By the end of 2027, the aim is to expand this number to at least 3,000, thereby facilitating the development of an AI application service ecosystem characterized by all-element collaboration, full-chain integration, and comprehensive coverage across all scenarios. The initiative encompasses four key tasks: establishing a resource pool, enhancing service supply capabilities, fostering large-scale applications, and bolstering support and safeguards.
