On August 31st, reports emerged that Tiankai Suishi, a startup nurtured by the Haihe Laboratory of Brain-Computer Interaction and Human-Machine Integration, has successfully developed an innovative product: the ‘EEG Signal Acquisition and Cognitive Function Assessment System’ (Shengong-Shengao). This system has recently secured the National Class II Medical Device Registration Certificate from the Tianjin Municipal Drug Administration. This achievement signifies the formal introduction of China’s inaugural brain-computer interface technology product designed to aid in the diagnosis of cognitive disorders, paving the way for its extensive clinical deployment.
