The artificial intelligence (AI) startup Anthropic is fervently ramping up its computing power resources as it gears up for an Initial Public Offering (IPO). The company has inked a six-year computing power rental deal worth a staggering $45 billion with cloud infrastructure service provider Nscale. Under this agreement, Nscale will deploy NVIDIA's cutting-edge chips to ease the computing power strain on Anthropic. Moreover, Anthropic has forged deep-seated collaborative ties with tech behemoths such as Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), SpaceX, Google, and Broadcom. These partnerships span the entire spectrum, from hardware procurement to power supply and network architecture design. Presently, Anthropic's annualized revenue stands at around $47 billion, with internal forecasts predicting that this figure will soar to between $190 billion and $200 billion by 2028. Nevertheless, Anthropic must substantiate its lofty $965 billion valuation, and its infrastructure deployment strategy serves as a pivotal element in showcasing its growth rationale to potential investors.
