In response to Bloomberg's query on Wednesday, Zhipu clarified that the Ox Alpha model represents a new version within its GLM series and announced its intention to release the model's weights later that evening. Since its anonymous listing on the AI model platform OpenRouter last weekend, the model has swiftly ascended to the pinnacle of the platform's usage charts, propelled by its cost-free nature and robust performance. Currently, its usage volume more than doubles that of DeepSeek.
