Google is in the process of carrying out a thorough interface upgrade for its Gemini app. This upgrade encompasses various facets, including chat management, notification systems, search and filtering functionalities, as well as the expansion of AI agent capabilities. Some of these features have already been rolled out in the beta version 17.52.12.sa.arm64 of the Google app.

In the new version, pinned chats have been shifted from the 'Recent' list to the top of the sidebar for easier access. Simultaneously, the search entry has been repositioned to the top of the sidebar. Moreover, a new bell icon entry has been introduced to establish a centralized notification center, making it more convenient for users to manage notifications.

On the 'Recently Used' page, four new conversation filtering tags have been added. Among them, two are specifically tailored for Gemini Spark tasks, enabling users to more precisely filter and manage their conversations. The management interface for Gemini Spark has also undergone restructuring. It now features a new 'Customize' page that offers functions such as skill discovery and app connection management, providing users with greater control and customization options.

Additionally, a new control function for the status bar icon display has been introduced, allowing users to personalize their interface according to their preferences. This upgrade is aimed at facilitating Gemini's transition from a mere conversational tool into a comprehensive AI platform, offering users a more seamless and efficient experience.
