According to sources familiar with the matter at two companies, server manufacturers have notified customers that prices for some of NVIDIA's flagship AI server chip systems are expected to increase by approximately 17%, primarily affecting the Grace Blackwell 300 and Vera Rubin 200 chip systems, with products to be delivered next year. Based on current quotes, after the price hike, the cost of building a 1-gigawatt-scale data center will increase by at least $5 billion.
