On August 24, the latest data from OpenRouter revealed that the total global invocation volume of AI large models hit 93.3 trillion Tokens in the previous week (from August 17 to 23), marking a week-on-week increase of 23.9%. Specifically, the weekly invocation volume of China's AI large models stood at 40.48 trillion Tokens, up by 9.88% compared to the previous week. In contrast, the weekly invocation volume of US AI large models was 9.66 trillion Tokens, showing a week-on-week decline of 5.85%. China's AI large models have outperformed their US counterparts in weekly invocation volume for 17 consecutive weeks, solidifying their leading position on the global stage. Among the top five AI large models in terms of global invocation volume, China claims four spots. Notably, the DeepSeek-V4-Flash official version has maintained its first-place ranking for three consecutive weeks, with a weekly invocation volume of 11.6 trillion Tokens, up by 4% week-on-week. An anonymous model, dubbed Ox Alpha, catapulted to second place, also registering a weekly invocation volume of 11.6 trillion Tokens. Launched on August 20, Ox Alpha boasts a context window of approximately 1.048 million Tokens, a maximum output length of 131,000 Tokens, and supports text, image, and video inputs. Moreover, it offers free invocation during the preview period.
