SoftBank Group is set to issue an unprecedented 1 trillion yen (equivalent to approximately $6.3 billion) worth of retail bonds in Japan. The funds raised from this bond issuance will be earmarked for fulfilling SoftBank's investment pledge to OpenAI. Based on the documents submitted by SoftBank, these 7-year bonds are anticipated to be priced on September 4, with a coupon rate expected to fall within the range of 4.3% to 4.9%.
