On August 21, a research report from Galaxy Securities highlighted that the front-end and back-end networking of computing power clusters in the AI age have spurred a substantial demand for switches. It is anticipated that 1.6T port switches will witness significant growth in volume starting from 2027. The super nodes at WAIC 2026 will serve as the focal point, driving rapid advancements in internal interconnection bandwidth. With each upgrade in port speed, the value of individual switches is enhanced, bolstering their profitability. Simultaneously, Scale-Up switches necessitate a reduction in latency from microsecond to hundred-nanosecond levels, a design challenge and validation process that far surpasses that of traditional products, thereby granting existing manufacturers sustained bargaining power. This scenario compels the 'bottleneck' switch chip segment within the industrial chain to expedite domestic substitution, further propelled by the performance realization of leading overseas switch companies. Consequently, it is advisable to focus on leading domestic enterprises operating in the switch and switch chip sectors.
