Ode, a joint venture established by Anthropic and Wall Street institutions, has completed its first acquisition since its inception in July. The target is AI consulting firm Casper Studios, aiming to drive business growth for its chatbot Claude in the enterprise market. Previously, Ode had acquired Fractional AI and collaborated with multiple IT consulting firms to develop customized products, primarily serving companies invested in by its backers. Currently, Anthropic is actively expanding its business but faces competitive challenges from OpenAI and open-source models. Meanwhile, the challenges in implementing AI technology have spurred strong demand for professional consultants. OpenAI is also strategically positioning itself in the enterprise AI market through investments in joint ventures and support for related holding companies.
