Current Robotics (Yuanliu) has successfully concluded several funding rounds, amassing hundreds of millions of yuan from prominent financial institutions and key industry participants. Under the leadership of founder Zhu Yichen, the team has developed a tripartite technical framework centered on 'data-model-evaluation'. Notably, the HumanEx system has amassed an extensive repository of 21,000 hours of human behavior data, encompassing 2,800 hours of intricate details on full-body movements and physical interactions. The Curr-0 base model boasts unified control over bipedal locomotion and a highly articulated 20-degree-of-freedom hand, facilitating the execution of diverse full-body coordination tasks. The CurrentWorld-0 simulator enhances the alignment between simulated and real-world test failure scenarios, and it accommodates human intervention for strategy refinement. Presently, Yuanliu is partnering with manufacturing firms to evaluate robot prototypes, and the upcoming system iteration will focus on refining the physics engine. Looking ahead, as the data volume grows, the pace at which humanoid robots acquire human-like behavior patterns is anticipated to surge exponentially.
