On August 20, information released by China Optics Valley revealed that during the August 18 signing ceremony for collaborative scientific research platforms between Tongji Hospital and Topgene Biotechnology, six cutting-edge sci-tech innovation platforms were unveiled simultaneously. These encompass the Experimental Animal Center of the National Major Public Health Event Medical Center, the Experimental Animal Center of Tongji Hospital, and the Hubei Brain-Computer Interface Technology Innovation Center. On the same day, a series of significant projects were also initiated. Notably, the "Brain-Computer Interface High-Quality Dataset Construction Project," led by the National Data Administration, involves a substantial investment of RMB 122 million and will span 24 months. This project aims to create multi-modal, high-quality datasets for 10 disease categories, including stroke rehabilitation and spinal cord injuries. Additionally, the Hubei Provincial Health and Biomedical New Technology Research and Transformation Special Initiative launched two projects: "Key Technologies and Clinical Translation of Closed-Loop Neuromodulation Brain-Computer Interfaces" and the "Optics Valley Brain-Computer Interface Data and Computing Power Platform."
