The scale and performance of 'Fixed Income Plus' products increased in the first half of the year, but a noticeable retreat has occurred since July. As of August 18, among products with a first-half return rate exceeding 1%, 50 have seen their year-to-date returns turn negative; all 29 products with a first-half return rate exceeding 20% have also experienced negative returns since July. This round of retreat is primarily due to a significant decline in the technology sector within the equity portion, while the bond portion's returns are relatively thin, failing to effectively hedge. Some products significantly increased their equity positions in the second quarter, with holdings concentrated in the AI industry chain, leading to further amplified net asset value fluctuations during the technology sector's correction. Industry insiders believe that market styles may tend towards balance in the second half of the year, and fund managers of 'Fixed Income Plus' products should place greater emphasis on matching position sizes with risk levels and enhancing cross-asset allocation capabilities.
