Despite achieving remarkable progress in artificial intelligence (AI) technology, its standing in the public eye is, in fact, experiencing a continuous downturn. As reported by Axios on Wednesday, the National Republican Senatorial Committee in the United States has raised an alarm to leading AI companies, cautioning that the establishment of data centers across the nation is undermining the party's prospects in a pivotal election in Ohio. Concurrently, a study conducted by the Pew Research Center reveals a growing apprehension among the American public regarding AI. Specifically, 52% of the respondents expressed that they are more worried than excited about the integration of AI into daily life, marking a substantial surge from the 37% recorded in 2021.
