A strategic cooperation framework agreement was signed in Guangzhou between the People's Government of Guangdong Province and Alibaba (China) Co., Ltd. The signing ceremony was jointly attended by Huang Kunming, Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, Meng Fanli, Governor of Guangdong Province, and Wu Yongming, CEO of Alibaba. Huang Kunming expressed Guangdong's support for the growth of platform-based enterprises and its aspiration to deepen collaboration with Alibaba during the implementation of the '15th Five-Year Plan,' with a particular focus on areas such as artificial intelligence, aiming to achieve groundbreaking accomplishments. He urged Alibaba to take an active role in the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, ramp up its technological innovation and investment endeavors in Guangdong, bolster the construction of computing power infrastructure, draw digital industrial chain enterprises to converge, facilitate the widespread adoption of vertical large-scale models, and bolster Guangdong's industrial upgrading and the cultivation of new, high-quality productive forces.
