On August 14, Alibaba announced the official open-sourcing of the Qwen3.8 series models, allowing developers, research institutions, and enterprises to freely download, deploy, and use them. Among them, Qwen3.8-27B, as a native multimodal dense model, contains only 27 billion parameters but outperforms Qwen3.7-Plus in performance. This model supports a native context of 262K and can be extended to 1M Tokens through technology, excelling particularly in programming and office scenarios. Meanwhile, the Qwen3.8-2.4T-A95B model has also been open-sourced, featuring 2.4 trillion parameters and supporting more complex tasks.
