On August 13, Lenovo Group released its financial results for the inaugural quarter of the fiscal year 2026/27, revealing a revenue of RMB 183.4 billion. This represents a substantial 43% increase compared to the same period last year, hitting an all-time high. For the first time, the adjusted net profit surpassed USD 1 billion (roughly RMB 7.3 billion), indicating a remarkable 176% year-on-year jump, also setting a fresh record. All three of its primary business sectors experienced double-digit growth, with revenue in every market region climbing between 25% and 58% year-on-year. Notably, revenue from AI-centric businesses reached RMB 63.4 billion, a 60% year-on-year hike, constituting about 35% of the total revenue; revenue from AI services witnessed a 141% year-on-year spike. Furthermore, R&D investment expanded by over 30% year-on-year.
