On August 13, Indian engineering and construction giant Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced that its subsidiary Vyoma.AI, through its AI infrastructure subsidiary LTN Compute, has successfully secured an order to build India's largest single-cluster AI infrastructure for Together AI, a US-based AI cloud service provider. The project will deploy 10,000 NVIDIA B300 GPUs at the Chennai data center campus, supporting large-scale inference, fine-tuning, and training tasks. L&T stated that this marks the company's first foray into the AI factory business sector. The total order value exceeds US$1 billion, with the first phase of the Chennai campus planned for a capacity of 250 megawatts, with provisions for expansion.
